Nag Hammadi archive

http://ccdl.libraries.claremont.edu/col/nha/

The Nag Hammadi Archive, hosted by Claremont Colleges Digital Library, offers a collection of over a thousand digitised photographs relating to the Nag Hammadi codices, a library of ancient Coptic manuscripts discovered in Egypt in 1945. About a fifth of the images depict the codices themselves, which include the apocryphal Gospel of Thomas and other Gnostic scriptures. These images, taken in the 1970s, provide a valuable record of the manuscripts, the condition of which has deteriorated significantly since their discovery (users should note, however, that the photographs are of variable quality, and that the site does not include transcriptions). The rest of the collection features images of the area where the codices were discovered, scholars working on the manuscripts, and so forth.

Through this website it is possible to join ASIA, as well as accessing details of back issues of Guitarmaker itself. The website also includes a forum where members of ASIA can discuss all issues relating to the making and repair of stringed instruments.
