Integrate Intute and become an Exemplar

Posted April 10th, 2008 by Angela Joyce

Intute offers a range of free Integration services, to help you use our content in your own Web page or VLE. A growing number of UK universities have already pulled in our newsfeeds, linked to Intute or put in a search box for Intute’s catalogue. Others have used MyIntute, our customising service. We have put some examples on del.icio.us to show you the range of possibilities. Find full instructions for integrating on our Integration page.

Intute has developed the Exemplar scheme for institutions who have integrated Intute across their website or portal in a comprehensive and consistent way. For example, a library may have added the Intute search box to all its pages which list subject resources. Leeds University were one of the first to do this. Martin Gill, their Faculty Team Leader, says ‘MyIntute has offered us an easy and effective way of promoting quality assured websites to our students.’ To find out more, see our Quick Guide to becoming an Exemplar.

If you are interested in joining the scheme or want start-up help with Integration, feel free to contact Jackie Wickham, the Integration Project Manager at:
