Posted November 6th, 2009 by Anne Reed

This year’s Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Chemistry Week runs from 7-15 November.

This event is held biennially to promote a positive image of chemistry and increase the public understanding of the importance of chemical science in our everyday lives.

The theme this year is food!

The RSC is hosting a public event “Curry: the dish that conquered Britain” on Tuesday, 10 November, 18.30-21.00 at The Library, The Chemistry Centre, Burlington House, London, W1J 0BA. Tickets for this event cost £5 which includes a food tasting after the lecture. Pre-booking is advised.
