This site provides free access to a collection of several hundred bibliographies compiled since 1990 by staff at the Muir S. Fairchild Research Information Center, Air University USA. They also provide information on key military leaders, weapons of mass destruction, air forces and air power. Each bibliography provides advice on key readings. This site provides access to a CRS research report RL32492 which was published by Congressional Research Services in July 2005. It provides statistical data on US active service casualties and war deaths from 1800 (approx) to 2004. Main conflicts covered include: World War Two, Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf Wars. Also included are military operations such as those in Haiti and Somalia. Data is derived from offical Ministry of Defense sources. Users should note that the paper is in PDF format and therefore requires access to an Adobe Acrobat reader for use.

This is an online exhibition of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and the Legacy Project. It provides free access to a collection of digitised wartime letters from US service personnel (soldiers and sailors) involved in conflicts from the 18th century to the present day.
