It is designed for anyone interested in the 2007 Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR07), and the subsequent Pre-Budget Report which sets out the broad brush spending priorities for the UK Government for the period 2008-2011, as well as immediate measures for 2007-2008 The site presents information on the key issues facing the UK economy, such as demographic and social change, examines where taxpayer money is currently spent by looking at revenue and spending in key areas and over key events in someone's lifetime and then encourages users to submit their ideas.

The African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) was founded in 1988 as a 'public not-for-profit organization', whose 'principal objective is to strengthen local capacity for conducting independent, rigorous inquiry into problems pertinent to the management of economies in sub-Saharan Africa'. The Consortium, based in Nairobi, is supported by funders, some of whom are foundations and governments outside Africa, and as part of its programme provides a platform for the publication of research. Launched in 1994, Agenda provides a forum for debate on public policy, mainly (but not exclusively) in Australia and New Zealand. There are the latest statistics releases, followed by a schedule of releases for each year. These include domestic banking statistics, external finance statistics and international banking statistics. The Bank also publishes an Inflation Attitudes Survey - a national poll undertaken by NOP, UK Yield Curve data and other financial market series. Each year there are monthly and quarterly releases of data. The site also includes a Statistical Interactive Database, with a range of indicators which are searchable, browsable and ordered by table.
