Abacus provides a forum for independent and critical thought on matters of current academic and professional interest in accounting, finance and business. Part of the Bank of England website, this is a large range of monetary, banking and financial statistics, in an easy to use form. There are the latest statistics releases, followed by a schedule of releases for each year. These include domestic banking statistics, external finance statistics and international banking statistics. The Bank also publishes an Inflation Attitudes Survey - a national poll undertaken by NOP, UK Yield Curve data and other financial market series. Each year there are monthly and quarterly releases of data. The site also includes a Statistical Interactive Database, with a range of indicators which are searchable, browsable and ordered by table. There is also a guide to the work of the Statistics division of the Bank of England and an organisation chart.
