Archives of Women in Science and Engineering is part of the special collections department of Iowa State University Library. It is associated with Iowa State's program for Women in Science and Engineering, whose goal it is to encourage women to follow careers in science and engineering. The archives document the lives of women who have achieved this goal in the past. The collections include the papers of Iowa State alumni but the geographical boundaries also span the United States and in some cases include American women working abroad. The site includes a collection list, and information about new acquisitions, secondary sources, virtual exhibits and the Archives of Women in Science and Engineering Oral History Project.

The Asian Women's Resource Exchange (AWORC) is an 'Internet-based women's information service and network in Asia. It is an initiative geared towards developing cooperative approaches and partnerships in increasing access and exploring applications of new information and communication technologies for women's empowerment.' AWORC works to help expand existing regional networks in the 'women's movement, promote electronic resource sharing and build a regional information service that will support various women's advocacies specifically those that are very critical for the women in our region.' The web site provides links to its participating organisations. There are mirror sites in Mandarin, Japanese and Thai. AWORC aspires to contribute to global efforts to address gender disparity on the Internet. It is geared towards building sustainable, as well as promoting Net literacy and enhancing social activism among individual women and women's organizations. The members of the growing AWORC community include women's information, resource and documentation centers, women's information providers and users; as well as communications organizations working closely with women's networks.

CWP aims to compile and present a documented archive of information about 20th century women who have made original and important contributions to physics before 1976. The situation is changing rapidly now, and many more women have entered the field. Owing to limitations of time and funding for this project, contemporary women whose contributions date from 1976 to the present are not represented. The site contains a database where one may search by the specific field of physics, or for a woman's name; an annotated photo gallery where one can click on a picture and see the associated citation; a list of recent additions to the database; and a bibliography of books and journals which contain information about the women named on this site.
