This bibliographic database, produced by the Australian Institute of Family Studies, is a computer-based index about Australian families and the social issues which affect them. It contains more than 50,000 citations and abstracts from 1980 to date and more than 3,000 new items are added annually. The database indexes material from a wide range of social science areas including sociology, psychology, demography, health sciences, education, economics,law and social work. Documents covered include journals, conference papers, books, government reports, research reports and working papers, unpublished papers, statistical documents and theses. The database is available either online or on cd-rom to subscribers only.
