| Description: | This is the website of Arc Editions, which was formed in 2005 by Victoria Bean, Karen Bleitz and Sam Winston, who first met when working together at Circle Press. It is an independent publishing group for artists, printmakers, illustrators, painters, writers, and poets, who work either independently or collectively, and who are interested in publishing limited editions of fine art books and artists' books, and unlimited editions of prints. The website contains images and information of the artists' work, a list of exhibitions in which their work has been shown, and a list of the museums, galleries, archives, and special collections where Arc Editions can be found, including the British Library, Camberwell College of Art, National Poetry Library, London, the Getty Research Center, and the Yale Center for British Art. An article about the work of the originating Arc artists, written by Richard Price, poet and Head of Modern British Collections at the British Library in 2007 for the 'Artist's book yearbook 2008-2009', can be downloaded as a PDF file. |
