It was launched in 2009 with the aim of highlighting the daily lives and work of individuals involved in the social care sector (with the main emphasis on the UK). It comprises short films with associated fact sheets, advice and learning materials suitable for social workers, students, researchers and members of the public. All aspects of social care are covered including: personalisation, dementia and old age; safeguarding children, safeguarding adults, nutrition, children of prisoners and social care for vulnerable groups. Material is being continuously added. Technical and copyright information is displayed on the website. |
