| Title: | Russkaya poeziya shestidesyatykh |
|---|---|
| Alternative title: | Russian poetry of the 60s |
| Description: | This site is part of a project run by the Department of Russian language and literature at Tartu University, Estonia. It contains the works of more than fifty poets, who are referred to as poets of the sixties, such as Iosif Brodskii (Joseph Brodsky); Konstantin Vanshenkin; Andrei Voznesenskii; Evgenii Evtushenko; Aleksandr Kushner; Semen Lipkin; and others. This decade is described by the authors of the site as a very long decade, which started in fact in 1958 when Pasternak's novel "Doctor Zhivago" was published, and finished in 1972 with Nikolai Zabolotsky's death and Iosif Brodskii's emigration. All the texts are provided in transliteration, so users do not need a special character set for Cyrillic texts. |
