The guide was published in 2005 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author provides background information about the legal systems and identifies print sources and relevant Web sources of primary materials such as legislation and case decisions and some secondary materials for each jurisdiction. Additionally the guide gives details of major law libraries where print sources of primary law can be found for many of the jurisdictions and sources of law on particular subjects. There is also information and links to legal resources relating to European Integration, taxation and finance, shipping and policy issues. This is an updated version of a guide published in 2001 on LLRX.com (Law Library Resource Xchange) a free online web journal for legal information professionals. |
