It is especially active in the areas of environment, agriculture and fisheries, forestry, the natural environment, the built environment and in urban and regional planning. The website contains information on the organisation of Formas, its research programmes and press releases. Tables of contents for the magazines 'Swedish Research for Sustainability' (available in English) and 'Miljöforskning', which are published four times per year, are provided and copies of these magazines can be ordered through the site. The majority of the site is in Swedish, although a summary about Formas is provided in English.

The Urban Agricultural Notes site is provided by City Farmer, a Canadian non-profit society dedicated to providing information on all aspects of urban agriculture in both developed and developing countries. Articles, conference announcements, and links to other resources on topics ranging from community gardens and hydroponics to urban forestry and composting are provided. Material is categorised by topic or by region of the world and retrieval is aided by using a search facility. Resources listed on the site are regularly updated and exact dates last examined are provided with each link. A photo tour of the demonstration garden at City Farmer's Vancouver site is provided, along with site plans and educational material available from that garden. This website provides an array of resources both educational and political in scope bearing on urban agriculture.

This is a Web page detailing the context, range and availability of the "Feeding the City II : Demesne Agriculture in the London Region, 1375-1400" dataset hosted by the History Data Service (HDS), based at the UK Data Archive University of Essex (formerly part of the Arts and Humanities Data Service - AHDS). The data is available to order from the HDS as a tab delimited texts and DBF databases. From this Web page you may download a PDF of images of the study documentation. To make use of this dataset you must first register with the HDS, and further information is supplied giving instructions. This database was collected as part of the research project 'Feeding the City (II) : London and its Hinterland c. 1300-1400'. The aims of this project were twofold. Firstly, to examine the demands for foodstuffs and fuel generated by London in the later fourteenth century and the impact these demands had on the production and distribution of agrarian products within the metropolitan region. Secondly, to compare these results with those previously generated for the early fourteenth century by the research project 'Feeding the City (I) : London's Impact on the Agrarian Economy of Southern England 1250-1350'.

The website of the University of Florida Urban Forest Hurricane Recovery Program provides extensive information in the form of of factsheets and Powerpoint presentations, on managing and replacing trees damaged by storms. It also gives advice on planning, establishing and managing wind-resistant urban forest and woodland. There is also a section on "lessons learned" from recent storms in the USA. Although this website is mainly concerned with the Southeastern US, much of the discussion and experiences of treating storm damaged woodland could be applied elsewhere.

The website contains Best Practice Guidance notes as well as links to decision support software and information on a data management system.
