Robert Musil Literatur Museum
http://www.musilmuseum.at/
This site is the home page of the museum devoted to Austrian writer, Robert Musil (1880-1942). Based in Musil's birthplace of Klagenfurt, the museum site posts mini-exhibitions on Musil and two other noted Austrian writers who lived in the same city: Ingeborg Bachmann (1926-1973) and the lyricist Christine Lavant (1915-1973). There are short biographies and timelines for all three writers, illustrated with scanned images of objects from the museum's collection. Bibliographies of the authors' works and recent commentary and literary criticism are posted. In some cases, users can click on links within a bibliography to access either publication information or full-text versions of particular articles. There are special links lists for each author (some have broken links). The site also posts information on an annual Klagenfurt literary workshop, listing names of past participants. A subsite, Literatour.at, outlines recent visits from noted current Austrian authors. There is a small separate links page. The site should be useful for teachers, students, academics and for interested members of the public.
