 <description>FIS Bildung Literaturdatenbank (German Education Index) is maintained by the Educational Information System (FIS Bildung), a network of almost 30 documentation institutions, and is hosted by the German Institute for International Education Research (DIPF). It is a searchable index to journal articles, book chapters, reports and other grey literature covering all aspects of education policy, practice and theory. This includes coverage of teaching, the economics of education, and all levels of education from primary schooling to higher and adult education. Over 400 journal titles are indexed. These are primarily German language, but also include major English language publications. Entries cover publications from approximately 1980 onwards. Abstracts are provided. Materials are updated quarterly. It is possible to search in English, French or German.</description>
