These include books, manuscripts, postcards and photos from Europe and the Balkans. Highlights are the first ever written dictionary in Roma-Serbian-German compiled in a concentration camp in WWII and 19th Century film clips. Other areas of the exhibition include memorabilia (books, photographs and prints) in the Romani language drawn from the archives of the National Library of Serbia; there are also postcards, photographs and audio files of folk songs from the holdings of the national libraries of Denmark, Moldova and Georgia with audio content provided by the Phonogrammarchiv of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Its purpose is to focus upon improving online public access to its records which include documents and publications of the United States government. It includes information on the latest declassified documents, free online datasets and information made available via FOIA Freedom of information requests. There is also a blog NARAtions to update users on events and offer advice on research and study skills. Other features include online discussion forums with the public which focus on how to improve US government openness and accountability.
