The International Olympic Academy was established by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1949 and officially inaugurated in June 1961 as "the intellectual expression of the Olympic Movement". Its website contains information about the IOA vision and the Olympic Movement, as well as contact details for the individual National Olympic Academies.

The International Skyrunning Federation was founded in 2008 in Canazei, Italy, replacing the Federation for Sport at Altitude (FSA). Skyrunning is defined as "running in the mountains above 2,000 metres altitude where the climbing difficulty does not exceed II degree grade and the incline does not exceed 40 per cent". The main aims of the ISF are "the direction, regulation, promotion, development and furtherance of the sport of skyrunning and similar multisport activities at altitude on a worldwide basis in accordance with the Olympic charter". The latter is of value to anthropologists as it contains many online photographs containing historic images of native peoples of the area. This site provides free access to a working paper by Ciska Raventós Vorst Olman Ramírez Moreira of the Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales, Universidad de Costa Rica which was completed in 2006 and made available on open access via halshs.archives-ouvertes.fr. EFD - Europe of Freedom and Democracy Group is a political grouping which operates in the European Parliament. It was founded in 2009 and is composed of many right-wing or 'eurosceptic groups'. These include UKIP. The website provides information on the aims of the group, its membership and activities in the website. It includes press releases, statements, policy documents and manifestos from members. Many of these are critical of the Lisbon Treaty. They include materials from European Parliament elections.
